米ロサンゼルス生まれの鹿児島育ち。ゴスペルクワイアーで鍛えた本格的な歌唱力。L.A名門アートスクールで学んだダンス・センス。完璧な英語、バイリンガルでラップもこなせるストリート感覚。アンダーグランドからオーバーグラウンドまで支持を得る唯一無二の存在、それがAI。
安室奈美恵やEXILE ATSUSHIなど国内トップアーティストはもとより、クリス・ブラウンやスヌープ・ドッグ、ザ・ジャクソンズ、チャカ・カーンなど国境を越えた数々のレジェンド・アーティストとのコラボレーションも多数。
これまで3度のNHK紅白歌合戦出場、第59回日本レコード大賞・優秀作品賞を受賞を果たす。
